WatchCaliber

The Navitimer Cosmonaute 24 hour time reading was refered to as 'the second choice moonwatch' as the preference was given to the Omega Speedmaster for some unclear reason. Nevertheless, the Cosmonaute was the watch worn by Scott Carpenter into space onboard Nasa mission Aurora-7 on May 24, 1962.Since the first generation produced in 1952, there have been many versions of the Navitimer watch case.

The rarest AOPA dial (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association) and caliber Valjoux 72 was originally developped as a navigation tool for pilots. Subsequent models were later modified with different bezel designs, black or white subdials, registers, etc.
